November 15,  Potter Baseball players partnered with the Laitinen family and friends
for a day of hard work and fun at the Bull Run Willing Warriors Retreat in Haymarket, VA.

It was a privilege to meet you and work with your team members. I looked at your website today and saw terrific photos from the work on November 15, 2014 at the Bull Run Warrior Retreat ( www.willingwarriors.com ). I have a few more photos attached for your use and that will be posted on my Facebook and at the Retreat once I print them off.

With your permission, I'd like to send the photos and the story to a couple of local Prince William County newspapers (The Prince William Times and Bull Run Observer).

Two of the attached photos show the bricks before they were moved and one shows the area after. Now you see them, now you don't. Magic? No, it was the extraordinary work of team members on the Potter Baseball Touring Team (JeffPotterBaseball.com). With three wheelbarrows, a small trailer and one pickup truck this group moved all the brick and stone (some about topple over) by hand the length of 3 football fields and placed it on pallet. Each different color of brick and stone were set on separate pallets in a crisscross pattern making them more stable and easy for the workers to use when building patios at the Retreat.

When the small trailer developed a flat tire; two team members changed it quickly without missing a beat and work continued uninterrupted. In addition to this work, other team members cleared brush from a future playground area; then chipped it up for creating trails in the wooded area of the Retreat.

I look forward to working with you and the outstanding team members in the future. All of that work; no complaints; great teamwork. Frankly as I told you that day I didn't think it could be done; yet your group accomplished what seemed impossible in five and a half hours.

Sincerely

Bill Johnson
